Porterville College Library Resources and Services:
The Library provides resources in many formats for its users (online, print, and media) in-house, online off-campus, and check-out circulation. Major collections include: reference, reserves, nonfiction, literary arts, short stories, Valley Writers, Anthropology, media, periodicals, etc.
Computers provide students with access to the Internet, online databases, and NetLibrary (ebooks). Wi-Fi is available in the Library. Media materials can be viewed in the library. Students can do school work in the Reading Room and in study rooms. Card-activated copiers and printers are available.
Library services most needed and used by students: faculty reserve materials made available to students and the presence of faculty reference/teaching librarians.
